Sunrise Material Co., Ltd.'s Research & Development Center is divided into Jiangyin R&D Center and Shanghai R&D center (currently under preparation).

The R&D Center has continuously improved the platform construction, established a sound R&D management system and incentive mechanism, so that the R&D projects can be carried out continuously and enter a virtuous cycle.

Relying on the "Jiangsu Enterprise Technology Center" and Jiangsu Multi-function Co-extrusion Film Material Engineering Technology Center" built by the company, the company co-builds "Jiangsu Enterprise Graduate Workstation" with Southeast University and Jiangnan University, and carries out industry-university-research alliance with the Institute of Agricultural Products Processing of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, focusing on multiple advantages, and is committed to the development and application research of multi-function polymer film.

The R&D center is equipped with more than 100 sets of advanced testing instruments and equipment, including polymer film testing laboratory, chemical analysis laboratory, packaging engineering laboratory and microbiology laboratory, etc.

The R&D center always aims to develop new products with independent intellectual property rights. In recent years, it has achieved innovation in equipment design and transformation, material processing technology and product application, etc.

At present, the company has more than 70 authorized patents, including two PCT patents. The company has a professional R&D team, which mainly focuses on the following five directions:
1.Research and development of recyclable multifunctional polymer films;
2.Research and development of key technologies for processing and manufacturing polymer films;
3.Development and application expansion of new polymer films;
4.Research and development of degradable polymer materials ;
5.Development and industrialization of functional polymer masterbatch.
